Any business partner, employee, or external third party who wishes to contact the company regarding potential violations, reports, or suspected cases of legal violations or breaches of Max Bögl’s values management policies will find a trusted point of contact in the ombudsman (Swedish for “mediator”). The ombudsman also serves as the internal reporting office (Section 14(1) of the Whistleblower Protection Act) and the complaints office (Section 8(1) of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act). All reports are treated confidentially, and the whistleblower remains anonymous to the company.

This external, neutral option is available in addition to the responsible managers and the central values management officer. The appointment of the ombudsman is intended in particular to assist business partners, employees, and managers who are unsure about whether or when to report concerns or who feel the need for a more personal and confidential conversation.
