While data protection focuses on personal data, IT security is concerned with the protection of computer systems and networks. Advancing digitalization and the increase in external cyberattacks make IT security an essential prerequisite for the stable execution of our business processes. New applications and technologies open up new opportunities, but they also need to be flanked by appropriate security measures. An IT security officer has been appointed for company-wide coordination and is supported by an IT security management team (ITSMT).
