Recycling and Waste

Proper waste management and the persistently high demand for primary raw materials pose major challenges for society. At Max Bögl, we are aware of this responsibility and are committed to promoting the circular economy. Our waste management is based on binding regulations such as the Circular Economy Act and the Commercial Waste Ordinance. Our goal is to reduce waste as much as possible—or, ideally, to avoid it altogether—not only to ensure legal compliance and save costs, but also to protect the environment.

In accordance with the five-step waste hierarchy, most of our waste is sent for recycling or even prepared for reuse. To improve the separate collection of our waste, we use a consistent color-coding system and standardized containers.

To conserve resources and prevent waste, the use of secondary and alternative raw materials is therefore playing an increasingly important role. Within the scope of our capabilities and in coordination with our customers, we also rely on secondary resources such as recycled concrete (RC), recycled aggregate, recycled asphalt, or recycled water for concrete production.

A key priority for us is the prevention and proper disposal of hazardous waste. Given the prohibition against mixing waste streams and the potential risks to human health and the environment, we handle this matter with the utmost care. It is important to us not only to comply with regulations and guidelines but also to actively contribute to minimizing potential risks and ensuring the safe, professional disposal of these hazardous wastes.
