Pipe jacking enables the construction of sewers and pipelines with minimal disruption to, for example, inner-city traffic routes, thereby avoiding long traffic jams and contributing to a significant reduction in particulate matter and CO2 emissions.
Since this method requires only the removal of soil displaced by the new pipeline, this innovative construction method further significantly reduces construction site traffic and emissions compared to conventional open trench / open cut construction, and also conserves resources, as very few external construction materials need to be delivered.
