Slab Track Bögl

The Slab Track Bögl is one of the internationally established track systems for rail transport. High-speed trains travel at speeds of up to 350 km/h on more than 10,000 kilometers of track in Europe and China—on prestressed, longitudinally coupled track-supporting slabs made of 

precast elements that offer high positional stability and require minimal maintenance.

For over 30 years, Max Bögl has consistently refined this T-echnology, guided by the practical experience gained from completed projects and the needs of its customers. Thus, what began as a standard construction method—first used on the Nuremberg–Ingolstadt ICE route—has evolved into a complete system capable of meeting virtually every requirement of modern railway construction. Today, the range of customized solutions extends from subways and commuter rail systems to retrofitted lines and heavy-haul traffic, as well as bridges, tunnels, and high-speed turnouts—with additional noise and vibration protection when needed, for example, through various mass-spring systems.

Planning, production, transport, and installation are all provided by a single source. Efficient manufacturing, automated assembly processes, and the use of more cost-effective materials shape the construction process and significantly shorten the construction time. The result is a track that stands for reliability, availability, and safety throughout its entire service life.
