Max Bögl Presents Eco-Friendly Concrete and Concrete Innovations at the GreenTech Festival in Berlin

From May 21 to 22, 2025, the Max Bögl Group will be represented at the GreenTech Festival in Berlin. The event is considered one of the leading trade shows for sustainability, T-echnology, and economic transformation.
The family-run construction and technology company will be showcasing its innovative approaches to greater sustainability in the construction industry—ranging from low-carbon materials and digital processes to solutions in the areas of Mobility and Renewables.
As a special highlight, the booth will feature a concrete exhibition with interesting facts about sustainable and innovative concrete.
Bögl Eco-Concretes – High Performance and Improved Environmental Footprint
The focus of the trade show presentation is on the various Bögl eco-concretes, which were developed in the company’s in-house research and development department. Depending on the application class, up to 70% of the cement content in these specialty concretes can be substituted. The resulting significant reduction in CO₂ emissions makes this material an environmentally friendly alternative for the often-criticized construction industry.
In addition, the latest research ideas from Bögl’s concrete technology will be presented: One component of these research efforts is the investigation of potential performance benefits from the use of so-called technical carbon. These additives could make completely climate-neutral, emission-free concretes—such as the Net-Minus-Concrete currently under development—a reality in the future.
As another highlight, sustainability expert Timo Schmidt-Heck will deliver an engaging presentation on the first day of the trade show titled “Wood and Concrete—A Comparison of Two Materials,” followed by an opportunity for discussion at the booth in Hall 18.
Innovative Products and System Solutions
In addition to eco-friendly concretes, the group will be showcasing its innovative products and system solutions in the fields of Building Construction, Residential Construction, Mobility, and Renewables at the trade show. From May 21 to 22, interested visitors can speak directly with the Max Bögl team on-site and learn more about the company, sustainable concrete, and smart products.
