With the completion of the access road, a crucial infrastructure prerequisite has been met for the construction of the new site for Körber’s T-echnology business unit in the Bergedorf Innovation Park. The Max Bögl Group is carrying out this forward-looking project in collaboration with Körber as the general contractor.

The next phase of the project, which is fully on schedule, is now beginning. As part of this, the construction site on the 70,000-square-meter property will be backfilled with sand. Max Bögl is one of Germany’s leading construction companies, with approximately 6,500 employees at 40 locations worldwide. Headquartered in Sengenthal near Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate, the company has nearly 100 years of experience in the construction industry and is known for implementing innovative and sustainable projects.

A Strong Team for a Forward-Looking Project

“We are very pleased that the access road has been completed and that we have thus taken another important step forward. With the Max Bögl Group as a strong partner, we are confident that we will be able to complete the new Körber building in Hamburg efficiently and on schedule. The new location will not only strengthen the Körber Technologies T-echnology business unit and prepare it for the future, but will also be a central component of the Bergedorf Innovation Park,” says Dr. Stefan Hofmann, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board of Körber Technologies GmbH.

The new Körber building in Hamburg brings together the existing Körber Technologies GmbH locations on Kurt A. Körber Chaussee and Weidenbaumsweg in Hamburg-Bergedorf, as well as in Schwarzenbek, Schleswig-Holstein. The modern and sustainable complex comprises nearly 50,000 square meters of building space, which will house administration, development, production, and logistics in accordance with the latest standards. Completion of the new Körber building in Hamburg is scheduled for early 2027. Körber Technologies GmbH serves as the headquarters of the Körber Technologies business segment, one of four business segments of the international T-echnology group Körber.
