The Max Bögl Group is making a major milestone in its corporate history!
“With 7,000 employees, our group has reached a new record high in headcount. This steady growth is also evident in our apprenticeship program—currently, 430 young people are completing their apprenticeships in various trades at Max Bögl,” explains CEO Stefan Bögl.
“This is a historic milestone for us,” says Michael Bögl, Executive Board Member for Commercial Affairs. “We are growing in all business segments—whether Building Construction, Infrastructure, or wind power. Demand is high, and we are well-positioned to meet it.”
Thanks to a consistent focus on state-of-the-art T-echnologies and sustainable solutions, Max Bögl is able to implement complex projects efficiently and flexibly. This holistic approach is a key factor in the company achieving the highest order backlog in its history. The “Bau + X” corporate strategy, which was established several years ago, has proven to be a forward-looking success factor. With a consistent focus on key societal and technological megatrends—including digitalization, Mobility, Renewables, and sustainability—Max Bögl positions itself as an innovative driver of the industry.
Thanks to its broad portfolio of services, the Max Bögl Group is now present in nearly every area of daily life. Whether roads, bridges, tunnels, residential and living spaces, or their supply and waste management systems—people in Germany encounter Max Bögl’s products and services multiple times throughout their lives. Even package orders from international online retailers are shipped from the logistics centers that Max Bögl has built. The electricity that powers our homes is generated by wind turbines on our Hybrid Tower Bögl and along our energy transmission lines, and then distributed.
The company is characterized by an extremely diverse workforce: The “Böglers,” as they are known internally, work at over 40 locations and on 400 construction sites both nationally and internationally. Among the company’s current 7,000 employees are well over 1,000 women, resulting in a higher-than-average proportion of women in the construction industry. In addition, the workforce hails from over 70 different countries, which impressively underscores the company’s multicultural orientation.
In light of this growth, Max Bögl is currently seeking over 500 new colleagues across more than 50 different professions—ranging from electronics technicians and crane assemblers for construction site deployment to CNC specialists, planners, and construction and project managers. “So far this year, we’ve already welcomed over 550 new ‘Böglers,’ as well as 140 new apprentices and students for September. We offer secure jobs, modern work environments, and opportunities for growth in an innovation-driven setting—for everyone with a passion for construction, a love of progress, and a joy in teamwork,” emphasizes Stefan Grad, Head of Human Resources.
