Upturn in the Wind Energy Industry Creates New Order Volume and Jobs

At the start of the 2025 training program, 149 young people across Germany began their apprenticeships or Dual vocational education and training programs at Max Bögl. The construction and technology company was thus able to successfully fill the majority of its open positions. To kick off the program, the new recruits were welcomed at the Sengenthal site.
Despite the generally challenging situation regarding the next generation of talent, the company has once again succeeded in filling nearly all of its apprenticeship and internship positions. In total, Max Bögl is now training around 440 young people. At its main location in Bavaria alone, around 100 new hires began their professional careers on September 1 at the company’s own training center in Tauernfeld near Deining with a varied introductory program.
After an official welcome by Michael Bögl, the Chief Financial Officer, along with the heads of Human Resources and Training, the Works Council, and the youth and trainee representatives, the new trainees kicked off the day with a group photo. The program then included important introductory topics such as first aid, fire safety, and occupational safety, supplemented by various team-building activities that helped everyone get to know one another. On the second day, the new trainees gained exciting insights into production during a plant tour of the more than two-kilometer-long facility before being escorted to their future workstations by their trainers.
At other locations throughout Germany—from Berlin to Munich—some of the new recruits were already warmly welcomed as early as August 1, 2025. From business-related roles to industrial-technical apprenticeships and a wide variety of dual study programs, such as civil engineering or energy management, the 2025 training cohort is highly diverse—including job roles that are currently particularly difficult to fill, such as professional truck drivers or processing mechanics. The wide range of training programs chosen highlights the comprehensive spectrum of skills and underscores Max Bögl’s commitment to training beyond its headquarters in Sengenthal.
The Max Bögl Group is already looking to recruit a large number of apprentices and students for next year. With its wide range of training programs—which includes a total of 38 apprenticeship programs and 11 dual degree programs—Max Bögl is one of Germany’s most diverse training providers.
