2. Data that we collect, process and save

2.1 Each time you access MBBs' website, the server that hosts the website (the "webserver") or a protective system saves information about this visit in a file. The webserver collects your IP address, the time and date of your visit, the pages and/or files you request, the website that linked you to our website, your browser, your operating system or the domain name and the address of your internet service provider.

2.2 We can use this information to allow access to the website (connection), to secure our system and to technically administer the infrastructure of the network.

2.3 We can also collect and save this information for optimization and statistical purposes and potentially combine the information with a pseudonym for a usage profile in an anonymized form for optimization and statistical purposes. The information can not be used to personally identify a user of this website. We do not generate personalized user profiles.

2.4 The German Telemediengesetz (TMG) allows, according to § 15 Abs. 3 TMG the use of user profiles under a pseudonym if the user does not object. Should MBBs use a pseudonymized user profile on the company's website, we will inform you about your right to object to this.

2.5 In addition to this, personal data will only be processed if you explicitly agree to the processing or if you voluntarily enter personal data on our website. Examples for this are ordering publications, requesting information about services, events and product information or applying for a job. In cases like these, should you enter data that is going to be saved with your name (hence personal data), the data will be processed, saved and used, if needed, to allow you to use our services.

3. Use and sharing of data

3.1 Your personal data will only be used for the purposes mentioned above and to the extent needed to achieve these purposes.

3.2 The Sharing of personal data with government facilities or authorities will only take place if required by national law or when the sharing of personal data is required for prosecution purposes after an attack on our network infrastructure. The sharing of data with third parties for other reasons will only take place with your explicitly given consent.

4. External tracking

4.1 We collect and save data on MBBs' website for marketing and optimization purposes with Google Analytics' technologies, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (Google). This data can be used to create user profiles under a pseudonym. For this, cookies can be used. Cookies are small text files that are being saved locally in the cache of the internet browser of the website visitor. Cookies allow the recognition of the internet browser. The data collected with Google Analytics' technologies will not be used to personally identify a visitor of this website and will not be merged with personal data pertaining to the bearer of the pseudonym unless explicitly and separately agreed to by the person concerned.

4.2 Data collection and storage for tracking purposes can only be avoided by not using our websites. In light of the discussion about the use of analytic tools with full IP addresses we like to let you know that we are using the Google Analytics tool with the "anonymizeIP" option to guarantee use in accordance with privacy laws. We explicitly do not engage in visitor-specific analysis.
