Ground Freezing Technology
When frozen, materials change their characteristics: they gain enormous stability and repel water - and frozen food lasts longer than fresh food. This holds true for construction as well: freezing the ground is a method to give it a higher structural strength in an environmentally sound way. It also seals it from ground water.
