According to the plans of the star architect and Pritzker Prize winner, who died in March 2016, a further milestone for Nuremberg and the entire metropolitan region is a trade fair room made of steel and glass. A new exhibition building that is even more impressive than its architectural counterpart from 2014 - Hall 3A. At around 70 million euros, Hall 3C, which will be a striking eye-catcher at the south-western corner of the exhibition grounds, is the largest investment in NürnbergMesse's corporate history. The visionary new building with around 9,600 square metres of exhibition space will also serve as a "buffer hall" in the future if existing hall space is temporarily no longer available due to necessary renovations. In order to survive in the face of intense competition, modernization of the up to 40-year-old trade fair buildings will be unavoidable in the coming years.
