Hamburg's highest new hotel building

New landmark for City North. Even the designs for the slim, elliptical glass building of the new Holiday Inn are reminiscent of award-winning luxury hotels all over the world.

Hamburg's highest new hotel building

But instead of Dubai, Las Vegas or New York, the widely visible hotel tower with its elegant design elements and innovative open lobby concept grows about 60 metres into the Hamburg sky. An 18-storey city hotel with 297 elegantly furnished rooms and suites is being built on the site of BP's former corporate headquarters in the middle of City North, an office city from the 1950s at Hamburg's Stadtpark that is under ensemble protection. The architecturally striking building, designed by MPP MEDING PLAN + PROJEKT GmbH, has a mullion-transom façade with insulating glazing and white glass panels of heterogeneous design.
