Injection measures to seal and grout building ground are among the Max Bögl group of companies’ standard jobs in specialty civil engineering. To broaden its range of services this division has now been using the so-called jet grouting since autumn 2005.

There are various kinds of application. The principle is to loosen the apex by a highly energetic cutting jet and to substitute or mix in a cement-based suspension. The material injected under extreme pressure creates a cavity grouted to a pillar with the binder suspension and ground material.

The building material used in jet grouting, i.e. water, cement and the present ground material, are natural materials and very neutral in the ground and in ground water. This takes ideal account of environmental issues.
