Company Profile

Founded by Max Bögl in 1929, the Max Bögl Group, headquartered in Neumarkt, Germany, can look back on a successful company history of more than 80 years. With annual sales of Euro 1,35 billion and more than 6,000 qualified employees, Max Bögl not only ranks among the top 5 of the biggest German building companies. Today, continued by the third generation, the Max Bögl Group is also Germany‘s biggest privately-owned construction company.

Due to innovations in technology and organisation, Max Bögl has developed in the course of the decades from a provider of mere building services to an internationally operating technology and service company. Certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and SCC, the activities range over all fields and complexity factors of the modern building industry – from structural engineering and traffic route building to civil engineering and tunnel construction to steel and plant construction, the prefabricated part manufacturing as well as supply and disposal.

Without losing sight of its core competence – traditional building activities – the Max Bögl Group as a trustworthy, high-capacity partner realises customised individual services as reliably as complex one-stop total solutions – from planning and financing to execution and operation. More than 35 locations, production facilities and representations around the globe – among others, in the United Arab Emirates and the People‘s Republic of China – develop new markets for innovative trendsetting products, substantiating our international orientation.

The know-how gained in many years, combined with the competence and innovation of the Max Bögl Group is reflected in a multitude of representative building projects. So the Max Bögl Group confirmed its achievement potential in the building of sport arenas in the course of the 2006 World Cup in Germany. The "design & build" competence is continued consequently in the construction of two sports stadiums in Dubai, the national stadium in Bucharest and the new stadium for the European Championship in Poland. Further classic examples are the constructions of two multifunctional halls in Varaždin (Croatia) and Ulm/Neu-Ulm.

Be it shell construction or turnkey projects – for our clients we realise complex buildings like office buildings, logistics sheds, hotels, clinics or shopping centres in a holistic fashion. As a specialist in civil engineering and tunnel construction, Max Bögl proves itself with unique technical and logistic solutions in many European countries.

The Max Bögl Group‘s leading position in modern steel construction is shown not only in the construction of the 2nd Strelasund crossing from Stralsund to

Rügen island, but also in other projects like the new railway bridge across the River Rhine at Kehl, a modern arched bridge in Nijmegen or high-quality bridge constructions for the Prague bypass. As one of the leading manufacturers of pre-cast elements, in its six own pre-cast-element factories and an internationally deployed mobile production plant Max Bögl also produces pre-cast concrete elements of the highest quality and accuracy.

Its own innovations like the development and construction of a guideway structure for maglevs and Slab Track Bögl, both successfully used in the German and Chinese high-speed network, benefit from the many decades of experience in the design and production of high-precision pre-cast elements. Modern light-rail systems, but also precast slabs for switches & turnouts and concrete sleepers round off our driveway technology portfolio.

We would be happy to answer any further questions you might have.
